T-T Anti-Flood Valves for... Movie Sets?

T-T Flow® recently received an order for sixteen of their Floaway anti-flood valves, however they were not chosen for their outstanding backflow prevention qualities but rather for their unique appearance!

A Senior Set Director, who has worked with the likes of Walt Disney and Lucasfilm on projects such as The Mandalorian, placed an order of eight DN110 and eight DN160 Floaways for airfreight to the United States.

Sales Engineer Gareth Reece handled the order and was told that the anti-flood valves were perfect for use as a prop in an upcoming film – he commented that: “The title of the upcoming film wasn’t disclosed, but we were told that we’d be unlikely to recognise our valves once they’re on the big screen.”

The anti-flood valves were quickly picked for shipment from our large stockholding of products at T-T HQ and securely packaged to ensure their safe arrival on set in the states. Having been designing, manufacturing and supplying valves since the division's inception as Aquaflow in 1987, this is definitely one of the most interesting (and mysterious!) orders that T-T Flow® has ever received!
