T-T Pumps Ltd, one the UK’s market leading companies in the supply, manufacture, design, install and service of pumping equipment, is looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to join their internal sales team.

The role involves undertaking various tasks including quote preparation to customer specifications and requirements within timescales.

Unlike others, as we manufacture the vast majority of what we supply, thorough in-house product training will be provided for the right candidate.

REQUIREMENTS

• Preparation of quotations within deadlines
• Ensure correct product selection in line with customer requirements
• Maintain close client contact building rapport and customer loyalty
• Liaise at all levels; from customers, area sales managers and management team
• Ensure maintaining profitable sales
• Feedback market trends and information
• Maintain and maximise use of CRM, accounting and sizing software
• Ensure all products are purchased in compliance with mandatory requirements
• Identify training needs to assist your career progression

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Based in Woore

ANY OTHER DUTIES NECESSARY:

• Be flexible to the requirements of the business
• Observe and maintain the company’s Health & Safety Policy and Procedures.
• Undertake any other duties that may be required from time to time

PERSON SPECIFICATION

QUALIFICATIONS/ EDUCATION/ TRAINING

• Engineering qualification (ONC, HNC, BEng, etc) - Desirable
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office) - Essential
• Good standard of English and Maths - Essential

Knowledge

• Knowledge of the industry - Desirable
• Understanding of pumps, pipework and applications - Desirable
• Understanding of pressure pipe systems and fittings - Desirable
• General understanding of engineering principles - Desirable

Experience

• Experience of working in a similar role - Desirable
• Preferably with pumps - Desirable
• Good communication skills (written and verbal) - Essential
