T-T Wins at Cheshire Business Awards!

We are thrilled to announce that T-T has won the Let’s Talk Apprentices Award at the prestigious Cheshire Business Awards!

Last Friday, ten excited members of the T-T team made their way to Chester Cathedral for a night of celebration, anticipation, and a little bit of nervous excitement. As we traveled, we couldn’t help but discuss, “What do we do if we win?” and “Is our Oscar-worthy speech ready?” Of course, we also made sure to perfect our award-winning poses for the camera!

As the evening unfolded, we enjoyed fantastic hospitality and a lovely meal, all while the anticipation grew. Then, it was time—the Let’s Talk Apprentices Award was up first! Watching our video play on the big screens filled us with immense pride, recognising the dedication and hard work that led us to this moment. Then came the drum roll… and we were announced the winners!

Emotions ran high as we celebrated this incredible achievement. This award is particularly special to us, as many members of our team started their careers as apprentices at T-T over 30 years ago. Supporting apprentices and developing the next generation of engineers has always been at the heart of what we do, and this recognition reinforces our commitment to fostering talent in the industry.

Later in the evening, we eagerly awaited the Exporter of the Year announcement, where we were honored to be finalists. While we didn’t take home that trophy this time, we remain incredibly proud of our progress and are more motivated than ever to expand our export efforts—so watch this space!

This award is a testament to our dedication to apprenticeships, and we will continue working closely with schools and young people to inspire the next generation of engineers.
