From Setback to Success at The Old Rectory
Treasure & Sons, established in 1747, is a renowned building and construction company, undertaking everything from the restoration of half-timbered and Georgian houses to planned monuments.
While working on a project at The Old Myddle Rectory, situated in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, Treasure & Sons faced an unexpected problem. Midway through the work, their first supplier let them down: the pumps they supplied were incompatible with the control system they needed. With no usable system, project development was under threat, and the team needed a swift, reliable solution.
T-T were recommended via a key distributor, who brought T-T in to support both the consultant and contractor, and after conducting a comprehensive technical audit, we quickly identified the problem: the original pumps simply weren’t up to the task. The answer was to substitute them with 230VAC 3-phase motors, which offered more control, higher efficiency, and long-term reliability. Alongside the new pumps, we also designed a customised control panel tailored to the client's particular requirements, ensuring effortless running across the site.
From sourcing the appropriate pumps to planning and installing the control panel, T-T managed the project from start to finish. The result was a system that worked perfectly, keeping the project on schedule and instilling Treasure & Sons with confidence in their equipment's performance. A potentially frustrating delay was transformed into an illustration of how knowledge born out of professional technical experience, prudent preparation, and timely action can yield exceptional outcomes.
When Treasure & Sons needed more than just equipment, T-T delivered the complete answer: both the pumps and the customised control panel, designed and installed for maximum performance. One team, one solution, zero delays.
