Historic T-T505 Pump Resurfaces After 35 Years of Service

A remarkable surprise unfolded at the T-T Repairs Centre when a customer brought in a T-T505 Submersible Effluent Pump for repair. Upon checking our records, we discovered that this pump was supplied to an installer 35 years ago, making it one of the very first T-T505 units ever sold.

What made this discovery even more astonishing was that the current property owner, who has lived there for 30 years, had no prior knowledge of the pumping system. It was only during recent building work that the long-forgotten pumping station was uncovered. Despite its neglected state, the pump was still operational. Impressed by its durability, the customer decided to purchase a brand-new T-T505 while refurbishing the old pump as a backup unit.

Available in both 230V and 400V models, the pump can be supplied with an Auto Coupling or a Hose Tail and Base for free-standing applications.
