The Countdown to the UK AD & World Biogas Expo is On!

With just a few weeks to go until the world’s biggest anaerobic digestion (AD) and biogas event kicks off at the NEC Birmingham, excitement is building for what promises to be an essential gathering for the industry.

The UK AD & World Biogas Expo 2018 (11th-12th July) brings together experts, innovators, and industry leaders from across the globe. The event provides a platform for networking, knowledge sharing, and exploring the latest developments in anaerobic digestion and biogas technology.

As well as a bustling exhibition hall, the expo offers a FREE two-day conference and seminar programme covering key themes such as agriculture, food waste management, funding opportunities, and bio-methane applications for transport and heat. With more than 25 sessions, attendees will hear from leading industry figures including Dr Alan Whitehead MP (UK Shadow Energy and Climate Change Minister), Dr Oliver Quast (UK Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy), Patrick Serfass (American Biogas Council), and many more.

This year’s event will also feature the launch of a landmark global food waste management report, a start-ups and innovation showcase, and free one-to-one advice clinics. The expo will culminate in the AD & Biogas Industry Awards Ceremony 2018, celebrating the sector’s highest achievers.
