Celebrating 60 Years of T-T: From Humble Beginnings to Industry Leader

Celebrating 60 Years of T-T: From Humble Beginnings to Industry Leader

From humble beginnings in the historic pottery town of Burslem, Stoke-On-Trent, in 1959, to becoming a leading provider of complete water handling solutions, T-T has reached a significant milestone—60 years of excellence!

The Journey from Burslem to Woore

Originally known as Vanroy, a general engineering company based on Lingard Street, T-T has evolved tremendously. Today, it operates six specialised divisions—T-T Pumps, T-T Controls, T-T Flow, T-T Pumping Stations, T-T Agricultural & Environmental, and T-T Service—each working together to deliver industry-leading solutions.

In 1970, T-T began manufacturing and supplying pumps, and by the 1980s, expanded into electrical control panel production. A pivotal moment came in 1989 with a management buy-out, setting the focus on pumps, pumping stations, control panels, and monitoring systems. This strategic direction paved the way for further expansion into waterworks valves and environmental equipment, offering customers a one-stop shop for water management solutions.

By 1998, T-T had outgrown its Stoke-on-Trent facilities and relocated to the picturesque village of Woore, a strategic move providing room for growth and excellent transport links. This expansion continued with the establishment of a cutting-edge Service and Repair Centre in 2011 and an extensive facility expansion in 2013, featuring state-of-the-art machinery and an 11,000 sq. ft. warehouse.
