When a major utility urgently needed an actuated valve package within just a few weeks, the pressure was on. Their appointed framework valve supplier couldn’t meet the deadline, leaving the project at risk of costly delays. The client required engineered valves with dependable actuators, fully function tested and ready for installation - fast. 

Our Solution 

Working in close partnership with United Utilities’ appointed framework contractor, T-T leveraged its extensive stockholding and collaborated with AUMA UK’s fast-track service to make the impossible possible. 

Here’s what we delivered: 

  • Eccentric plug valves (DN80 & DN150), These quarter-turn valves feature an offset elastomeric encapsulated plug that lifts away from the seat while opening and lend themselves to flow control / throttling duties 

Key Features: 

  • Gate valve offers dependable flow isolation equipped with a directly mounted AUMA SA multiturn actuator with local AUMA MATIC control head 

  • The eccentric plug valves are supplied with direct-mounted AUMA SQR quarter-turn modulating actuators for precise flow regulation, plus AUMA MATIC head 

  • All units are assembled and function-tested by T-T’s trained engineers before dispatch for reduced commissioning time
